Free Hands-On Family Fun in Northeast Ohio

As summer is winding down there will hopefully be a few nice days to take advantage of some free family activities happening right in Northeast Ohio! Here are a few of our favorites!

Most Saturdays Pat Catan’s craft stores offer free crafts (often based on a holiday or seasonal theme) for children and families to create and take home. Contact your local store for current projects and times or go to www.patcatans.com.

Another great free acitivity for kids is at Lakeshore Learning stores. Every Saturday from 11am-3pm stores have a free craft day for children ages three years old and up. Finally Home Depot offers free hands-on workshops for children on the first Saturday of the month. Children get a certificate of achievement, apron and pin. You can go online to www.homedepot.com to locate your store and to register in advance for the workshop.
